The GE BOOST 2 has a 3-position switch which allows you to choose the range of frequencies affected by the boost:
In the middle position the highest frequencies are boosted, in the M position we boost from the high midrange and in the F position we boost over an even wider frequency range.

The transistor which equips this GE BOOST is an MP41 (NOS transistor from 1978 of Russian military grade) which will not let you go even by high temperatures ...
