The floating mass is the separation of the shielding mass from that of the signal which makes it a very quiet cable, the shielding braid serving Faraday cage it protects the conductors of the cable waves surrounding it. For this it is connected to the mass on one side and plays the role of antenna around the cable.

The cable is provided with a color mark you'll never find your cables among those of your friends!

For optimum shielding, the red color mark must be placed on the side of the amp (or pedalboard) and the white mark on the side of the instrument.

The cable used is a Van Damme XKE low noise, copper 24AWG conductor without oxygen black and 6.35mm diameter.

The sockets 1/4 "(6.35mm) are NEUTRIK:

NP2X B jack straight plug 2 gold contacts poles and black body.

    Avis câbles jack 5M Music Doc Station

    Ce câble sonne un peu plus ouvert dans les aigus (avec peut-être la sensation d'un poil plus de dynamique) que d'autres très bons câbles que j'ai. Mais à ce niveau de qualité, les différences perçues relèvent de la nuance fine de sonorité sachant que mes câbles de référence sont aussi très bons à mes oreilles. Si je dois en acheter d'autres, je m'adresserai à vous. La question du sens de branchement est aussi étonnante, me disant même que le mettre dans le "mauvais" sens n'est pas si inintéressant en soi. Le câble, souple à manipuler, est d'une gaine apparemment robuste et les connecteurs Neutrik ont déjà fait leurs preuves. Je n'ai pas l'impression que l'on se trompe en achetant ce modèle de câble.
