The floating mass is the separation of the shielding mass from that of the signal which makes it a very quiet cable, the shielding braid serving Faraday cage it protects the conductors of the cable waves surrounding it. For this it is connected to the mass on one side and plays the role of antenna around the cable.

The cable is provided with a color mark you'll never find your cables among those of your friends!

For optimum shielding, the red color mark must be placed on the side of the amp (or pedalboard) and the white mark on the side of the instrument.

The cable used is a Van Damme XKE low noise, copper 24AWG conductor without oxygen black and 6.35mm diameter.

The sockets 1/4 "(6.35mm) are NEUTRIK:

NP2X-B 2-pole straight jack socket with gold contacts and black body and NP2RX-B 2-pole angled jack socket with gold contacts and black body.

    Excellent

    La cable est souple et néanmoins robuste. Il s'agit d'un jack stéréo pour une guitare acoustique avec un système Highlander avec piezo + micro. Le son a gagné en clarté et en définition par rapport au jack standard (Planet Wave) que je possédais avant. Service top, merci Doc Music Station.
